IREM, an Organization of Property Managers

The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) is an international community of real estate managers dedicated to ethical business practices, maximizing the value of investment real estate, and promoting superior management through education and information sharing.

IREM held a recent seminar to educate their members on the latest changes and updates in property management. One of the panel discussions, “Good Vs. Great Property Managers”, was a strong topic which created much discussion.

One thought that may have added an interesting dimension to the discussion would have been to include a variety of varying size of tenants or their representatives to the panel. This perspective may have given the audience members answers to specific questions pertaining to their size properties. After all, tenants come in all sizes. The idea of a broader panel representation would have provided a depth of information for all to take home. What good is providing a service if it’s not the service your clients need or want? And is that service right for your size client? This stands true for most all service providers. Wouldn’t you agree? http://ow.ly/BGUop
